The Principle of Lightness @ Intraform, Berna
On the occasion of the traditional 1st of Advent event, in the historical centre of Bern, MDF Italia presents the capsule collection 'The Principle of Lightness' for the second stage of the tour that involves the collection featured in major partners. From 27 November and for the whole month of December, the shop windows of the Intraform boutique, in the Swiss capital, will be set up with limited edition products celebrating the company's 30th anniversary.
The Principle of Lightness collection reinterprets MDF Italia's most iconic products dressed for the occasion in hand polished steel or aluminium finishes.
Tense by Piergiorgio & Michele Cazzaniga, Le Banc by Xavier Lust, Lofty chair by Piergiorgio Cazzaniga and Minima by Bruno Fattorini will be the protagonists of the installation at Intraform.
The Principle of Lightness @ Intraform AG, Rathausgasse 76, 3011 Bern, Switzerland.
Opening: 27th November '22 | H11.00-17.00

Founder of MDF Italia, Bruno Fattorini led the company from 1992 to 2013, when it was finally acquired by the Cassina family holding. In addition to redefining the company's strategy based on commercial and product policies, he guided the cultural and aesthetic reflection, focusing on specific lifestyles characterised by an evolution of minimalism and simplicity. The respect for the past and the rigour of forms are reflected in the MDF Italia collection he conceived, which includes the iconic Minima bookshelf, Honorable Mention at the Compasso d'Oro.
