Designed by Piergiorgio and Michele Cazzaniga in 2009, Tense embodies the archetype of a table. Defined by the consistency of its shapes and finishes, it is an icon of lightness and flexibility: thanks to its internal tension, it can extend up to 4 meters in length. Within the MDF Italia’s collections, the Tense family is available in 16 finishes, 5 heights, and 31 sizes. For The Principle of Lightness collection, Tense is reintroduced with a hand-polished aluminum finish, in a 100x240 cm size.

Specialised in industrial product design and interior architecture, Michele Cazzaniga attended the prestigious Politecnico di Milano, where he graduated in Industrial Design. Over the years, he has collaborated with renowned design firms, creating significant projects. Together with Piergiorgio Cazzaniga, with whom he has worked closely since 1999, he designed the 'Tense' table collection for MDF Italia, icons of essentiality and functionality.
