As the name suggests, Arpa draws inspiration from one of the most beautiful and poetic musical instruments. The rigorous exercise in design synthesis undertaken on the collection has made it possible to minimise the number of components for each piece.
Arpa combines the stability of the orthogonal external structure with the comfort and softness of the inside cushion. The refined cords add elegance and delicacy to each element of the family, creating a sense of visual lightness, as if the entire upholstery was floating, suspended by its structure. Designed to be timeless, the iconic Arpa collection stands out not only for its refined aesthetic but also for its high functionality. Arpa is available with fixed modules with three seats and in the Light version, with intermediate modules with or without armrests to create linear and angular customised configurations.
Arpa won the Archiproducts Design Awards in 2020.
Frame
Backrest and seat loadbearing structure in stainless steel, 2x2 cm section, epoxy powder-coated using specific treatment for outdoor use in the matt goffered finish. The black iron paint finish has a cloudy effect, a feature and peculiarity of this finish.
The seat frame has elastic straps, specifically for outdoor use.
Weaving
The backrest frame is woven by hand using high tensile polyester cord, in mass pigmented colour, able to guarantee high resistance to weather, abrasion, limited elongation, and colour fastness.
Cushions
Seat cushion with insert in non-deformable dual density polyurethane for greater comfort. Filled with padding in polyester fibre and viscoelastic polyurethane memory foam chips to improve the support offered by the padded seats and backs. Fixed cover in polyester fibre bonded with water-repellent canvas that seals the cushion and makes it completely waterproof.

The cushion’s special composition gives the padding natural softness and elasticity, making it durable and extremely comfortable.
Cover
Outdoor fabric, removable cover.
Accessories
Protective rain cover in light grey colour, specifically for outdoor products, waterproof, made of 100% polyester, outside with acrylic coating, inside with acrylic resin coating. Its characteristics are emphasised by its fully fungicidal Teflon finish.
Each rain cover comes with a closable slip cover, so that it can be folded and kept correctly when not in use.
