The concept of offices is changing. Fixed workstations are making way for a new means of nomadic, smart production, and working spaces are becoming inviting, immersive places to meet. Workers move quickly from one workstation to the other, laptop in hand. They are looking to share, but also for some privacy; interaction, but also concentration.
More formal rituals are evolving in light of technological innovations, such as standing meetings or conference tables with devices for remote calls. Accustomed to working from home, we now require new levels of comfort at the workplace. No discipline interprets these changes more than design while also reflecting such contemporary cultural changes. This is why MDF Italia uses design to meet the needs of working spaces in an innovative way.

In contract design, the space intended as a reception area represents a distinctive element to which MDF Italia has always shown great attention.
