The NVL Table, designed by Jean Nouvel Design, is a table with contemporary lines and a strong personality. The distinctive features of its architecture highlight the stylistic elements that have always defined the designer's work: pure geometric shapes, formal lightness, graphic precision, and rigour. The simplicity of its shapes harmoniously dialogues with the solidity of the materials, creating a play of contrasts: the thin, lightweight tabletop appears to float above the base.
The central support is composed of two volumes that thin upwards, forming two symmetrical bases reminiscent of the trilithon principle: two vertical elements supporting a horizontal one. Available in round or oval versions up to 3 metres in length, the NVL Table is a true architectural piece that enhances any setting, bringing character and sophistication to the spaces it inhabits.
Available in lacquered finishes, glossy or matt, as well as a textured version in reconstructed stone, or with a top in Calacatta gold marble, white Carrara marble, or black Marquinia marble, all available in glossy or matt finishes, the NVL Table stands out for its elegance in any context.
Lacquered and reconstructed stone top
Medium-density fibreboard top, 25 mm thick, with a snap clip and hidden points for fastening to the flange below. Bases, under-top flange, and tops are available in matt or glossy lacquered finishes.
Note for reconstructed stone: visual irregularities, nuances, a lack of uniformity of both surface and material colour are deemed traits of value and uniqueness.
Finish in Coccioperla white X202, cream X203, dove grey X204 and black X205 on request.
Marble top
Marble top with matt or glossy polyester protection, 20 mm thick, with a snap clip and hidden points for fastening to the flange below. Bases, under-top flange, and tops are available in matt or glossy lacquered finishes.
The marble version is not available for the L300 oval table.
Marble top combinations:
Base
The bases and under-top flange are made of moulded high density rigid polyurethane joined together with a mechanical fastener. Each base has a closing plate and internal anti-tilt weight in moulded cast iron, epoxy powder coated in matt black.
Bases, under-top flange and tops are lacquered or coated with approximately 3 mm thick material, according to the variants.
Notes
Monomaterial tables available in glossy and matt lacquer or reconstituted stone finishes.
The matt or glossy warm white lacquer finish is only available when paired with a marble top.
Electrification on request.
