Minima 42 is a modular and versatile system that stands out for its essentiality, perfect to furnish with style any type of domestic environment, from the living room to the bedroom. Featuring an aluminium frame and shelves, the system offers a remarkable horizontal extension, while the height of the shelves, 42 cm, has been designed to ensure maximum flexibility, allowing to contain objects of different sizes in a practical and orderly way.
The containers, available with flap doors, drawers or open compartments, can be inserted and repositioned within the structure, offering endless possibilities of customisation to create aesthetic and functional compositions. To ensure greater safety and functionality, the containers with flap and drawers can be equipped with a lock, making Minima 42 ideal for studios and home offices.
This freedom of composition allows to create custom-made environments, able to evolve over time and adapt to the needs of the home.

"For MDF Italia, I designed products capable of making interiors more livable and welcoming. A further confirmation that the process of subtraction employed by the company has made the collections unique and always relevant."
Founder of MDF Italia, Bruno Fattorini led the company from 1992 to 2013, when it was finally acquired by the Cassina family holding. In addition to redefining the company's strategy based on commercial and product policies, he guided the cultural and aesthetic reflection, focusing on specific lifestyles characterised by an evolution of minimalism and simplicity. The respect for the past and the rigour of forms are reflected in the MDF Italia collection he conceived, which includes the iconic Minima bookshelf, Honorable Mention at the Compasso d'Oro.
