Minima 42 is a modular and versatile system defined by its essential design, making it ideal for any setting, from residential spaces to public environments.
Featuring an aluminium structure and shelves, the system offers remarkable horizontal extension, while the 42 cm shelf height has been carefully designed to ensure maximum versatility, accommodating objects of various sizes with ease.
Thanks to its modularity, Minima 42 adapts to a variety of configurations. The storage units — available with flap opening door, drawers, or open cabinets — rest within the structure and can be easily repositioned, offering endless customisation possibilities to meet both aesthetic and functional needs. This flexibility allows for tailored solutions that evolve alongside the project.
For added security and functionality, storage units with flap opening door and drawers can be equipped with locks, making Minima 42 an ideal choice for offices and contract spaces where an additional level of protection is required.
The high-quality materials and attention to detail make this system a durable and versatile choice, enhancing any space with its understated and contemporary aesthetic.

"For MDF Italia, I designed products capable of making interiors more livable and welcoming. A further confirmation that the process of subtraction employed by the company has made the collections unique and always relevant."
Founder of MDF Italia, Bruno Fattorini led the company from 1992 to 2013, when it was finally acquired by the Cassina family holding. In addition to redefining the company's strategy based on commercial and product policies, he guided the cultural and aesthetic reflection, focusing on specific lifestyles characterised by an evolution of minimalism and simplicity. The respect for the past and the rigour of forms are reflected in the MDF Italia collection he conceived, which includes the iconic Minima bookshelf, Honorable Mention at the Compasso d'Oro.
