More than just a residence, this estate spreads over 10,000-sqm encompassing seven expanses of water, two swimming pools, a green lawn and an area devoted to horse breeding and training.
Located on a hill in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, the building, designed by architect Roberto Migotto, is made up of several overlapping volumes.
The interiors feature wide open spaces; the ceilings are over 4 metres high and the large glass walls infuse the rooms with light, giving the impression of more space. A large, lightweight and dynamic spiral staircase at the centre of the first floor leads to the upper floors.
The simple, contemporary furnishings are characterised by natural colours and materials. Outdoors, a raw wood table is surrounded by upholstered Flow Armchairs featuring a cosy frame in neutral colours, consistently with the mood of the interiors. The central-leg base, minimal and essential, contrasts with the volume of the chair.
